煤焦油高速離（lí）心機與標準型（xíng）臥式螺旋卸料沉降離心機的工作原理相同，其主要區（qū）別是：其結構比標準型更先進，轉子部（bù）件及標準緊固件均采用高強度合金鋼、主軸承耐高速高溫，高轉速（sù）離心機的設計轉速比標準型離心機高（gāo）得（dé）多，其分離因數達3500G以上，並且其長徑（jìng）比達1:4以上。高速離心機的分離效率高，主要用於餐餘物離心或分離要求高的場合。
